In this course your dog will learn the jump cues for threadle wraps and for threadle slices. We will train both cues on verbal control. After working on a solid foundation we will generalize and test the cues in different scenarios. Your dog will be able to commit to the jump at a distance and work the cue independently. You need 2 jumps for the exercises in this course.
With the help of this course your dog will learn to collect at the tunnel exit and turn tight. We will teach a verbal cue for this behavior and practice it in different scenarios. In the second half of this course, we will implement this cue to different course situations and run small sequences. For this, you will need one tunnel and 4 jumps.

Anna has been active in dog sports since 2003. After trying different kinds of sports, she now focusses primarily on agility, where she became a licenced trainer in 2010. Ever since she has been teaching classes and seminars. To further her knowledge, she regularly trains with well-known trainers. With her own dogs Anna has been successful at the national and international level for many years. In 2019 she became European Open Team Champion together with her Border Collie May.
Annas training is different for every team. There is no 'one size fits all' approach. Her coaching may include exercises from impulse control to building drive and motivation, as well as all topics related to agility. Her range of knowledge is brought, so that she can create the best training plan to reach a coachee's goal. Beginners as well as seasoned agility competitors are welcome in her (online) training. The dog's age and health is always under special consideration so that every athlete can have a long and successful career.
Annas knowledge stems from her studies in psychology, educational science and e-learning. This helps her to plan and realize her live and online coachings. The combination of psychological and pedagogical insights presents the cornerstone for deep learning in human and dog.
For effective learning, a safe and stress-free learning environment is crucial. For this reason, Anna likes to use the method of shaping to introduce new exercises to the dog. Alternatives are presented for teams which do not like to use this type of training.
